Geohot glitched his PS3 back in 2007/2008 I think. It was one of the initial exploits which later involved infectus and other hardware. Almost 3 years before the 1st 3.41 JB device.
geohots glitch was only 6 months or so before the psjailbreak dongle
I think he's actually right definitely no longer than a year.. he did the glitch on 3.15 and left at 3.21
Edit: yeah end of '09 he started and Jan 22nd 2010 he had broken it
Then August 2010 we had the first dongles

Didn't they hint when is their product going to hit the market? This will be a great tool. I hope they include a video tutorial on how to set this whole thing up.
