Here is the new reactPSN 2.23 made to work with new CFW
Download and try for yourself!
Hold R1 While running it to backup and convert your rif files to rap files
Hold Circle While running it to generate EDAT files for C00 type demos to convert them to full game! or to fix EDAT files for PS1/minis
Hold Triangle to FIX DLC self files
Hold nothing while running to convert raps on the USB/exdata to .rif files (make new profile named aa before doing this)

forgive my ignorance, I've never touched react (always just used edats), from what I recall the older versions needed a patched vsh, is this still needed on Rogero V2 (cant recall if I'm on 2.0 or 2.03) CFW?

how would one go about getting a act.dat file?

I never had one in the past and used rebug and what not to get around that. but i was told if you go on psn and download something you get one, but i tried downloading something i forget what, some free dlc, and still don't have one. any help would be appreciated.

I made a new user and made a new account and that did nothing as well.
I also read about people deactivating the ps3...anyone have this problem and found a solution?

I've had to do all these things. As far as downloading to get act.dat you have to download something off PSN that requires activation. There's free stuff as well that requires activation, (I believe I used the Emil Largo DLC for goldeneye reloaded don't worry you don't need the game itself). Anyway JUST BEFORE you start to download something it will read activating then start downloading, if it doesn't say activating then you'll have to download something else.

I deactivated my account and made a whole new before I realized not every PSN (free) download requires activation, so I only tried like 2 free downloads and no PSN act.dat (files didnt need activation turns out) until I decided to deactivate.

So deactivating I realized doesn't give you a act.dat just a new PSN account. But I know for sure i got new act.dat from free download that requires activation (paid stuff will work to if requires activation). You can also deactivate and log back into old PSN account, but I used this for some other problem.

Rebugs 421 VSH is patched, old Rogero are NOT patched but the latest Rogero CFW's are supposed to be VSH patched.

That happened to me, can't remember what I did to fix it, just "google" the error code. I think it has something to do with deactivating the console, however cant remember exactly. Anyway so how i fixed it pretty easily

alright, i got it to activate and download, but when i exited and went into multiman so i could see if the act.dat was there. its not, not even a exdata folder.


edit-
alright so - activated system - download dlc - now i have a act.dat yay!

but now i can not get react to activate, /sigh

i made a account named aa
put the raps and what not on usb in folder exdata,
downloaded this new reactpsn
ran it
it changed the aa user name but still no difference.
