E3 Flasher - PSN Online Video

Sadly even tho the E3 Flasher is a real product, and will be shipping soon, there is still alot of debate on what it can really do, is it real, and claims the last two videos were outright fakes. -- So to clear up some of the answers, the E3DIY team has released to us here at Crunch HQ another video this one showing that PSN Online works and some more details on the E3 Flasher itself!

E3 FLASHER dual boot, can with v3.70 play PSN and with v3.55 play your HDD games!

After we release dual boot video, most people love it but it also raised some doubt. We understand, so today we release a new video, and do some clarification:

1: E3 FLASHER not only a flasher, but with perfectly extension because integrated lots of interface
* We will release more useful function later, all will be free just like when we release Golden Finger function on our E3 card reader.

2: E3 FLASHER can be upgrade from PC USB or TF card, very simple to do.

3: E3 FLASHER dual boot you need TWO HDD's, one for 3.70 , another for 3.55. If you use only one HDD, it will be required to format everytime.
* We will release a kit that includes ESATA station for you switch HDD's easier. (Supports 2.5" and 3.5" sizes)

4: At present, on NAND flash console, you need to solder plus wires also. And no dual boot function because no 256M NAND FLASH ON E3 FLASHER.
* On NOR flash FAT console, you need to solder plus wires also, and includes dual boot function.
* On Slim console, there is no wires, but you still need solder some points. It is easy can be done in 3min.

5: We will release 2 new version E3 FLASHER at the end of this month.
* One is 256M NAND flash on board and with CLIP, to get dual boot and no solder function.
* Another is same as present E3 FLASHER but with CLIP, so all NOR flash console no need any solder at that time. (sure cost will higher)

6: If all goes well, we will release official pictures and retail prices by this wednesday !

We have also arranged to have a sample shipped to one of our Crunching Developers, so we can do an in-depth review of this product for everyone.

I am making a pre-order for E3 flash from lightake because my ps3 needs to downgrade so that I can playagain, i'll wait and see how it goes soon.

Thats awesome. Now if they can only fnd a way for us to play our 3.60+ backups on 3.55. thats all i need. Im guessing we still cant sync our trophies that we have on 3.55???

no! since your 3.55 trophies are stored on 3.55 specific disk you will not be able to sync them when you switch over to the 3.70 fw and its specific disk.

ok 3.70fw is on the ps3 i take it.
and 3.55fw is on the flasher.
as there is no fw update taking place between the 2 fw swaps does that mean you cannot actually downgrade the fw that is on the ps3
so if you want 3.55 all the time you need to keep the flasher pluged in? (thinking of slims here)
i know it said phat nand type donot have dual boot option but it also said phats have a different flasher to the slims (or nor / nands use different flashers) so does the flasher have to stay pluged into the phat all the time aswell??

I'm assuming so, because the e3 has it's own NOR chip which allows the switchinf of 3.5/3.7
