    Angry Might be right forum.....

Ok so i have these 2 "jump drives". Ok i reformatted them and when the mortal kombat hacks came out for the bosses and stuff i was like YEAH! So i loaded it with the .pkgs, when I put one on my kmeaw ps3 it took me straight to the recovery menu I think it was. So i was like it's fucked. So one day I went to copy the game save with the other drive and when ps3 booted up it took me to the same menu with nothing on the drive. WTF? CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN THIS?

Edit : Second ps3 was 3.6x at the time. Not sure if 1 or 5.

So you inserted the usb sticks before you turned on the ps3? I never would have discovered this; I always insert them after menu loads. Do the drives have any hidden partitions? (I assume you can do that like with harddrives.)

putting pkgs in a thumb drive doesn't take your machine into recovery when you turn it on.

but i can't clearly understand what do you mean, on your first post.

ok i got the 2 drives, i put the pkgs on the jump drive, i took it from my computer to my 3.55 ps3 and went to that menu. the second time i went to swap my ps3 save file from the 3.6x ps3 to the 3.55 and it went to the same menu with NOTHING on it.
