This one is hard to follow and all the news sources are not in english and I don't fully understand the translations, but it seems that a developer by the name of Cotojestwtf that originally was famous for producing his Server Mapper program that allowed people to bypass some of the PSN protection and allow CFW users to get online with the big games like Call Of Duty, is now in trouble for his efforts to help the Jailbreak PS3 Users!
After Cotojestwtf produced this amazing program, he mentioned a few times that he was working on a new app called PS3LINKER and that it would allow CFW and legit OFW users to play together like a virtual private PSN type network, bypassing Sony all together, but then we come to the rumor part (which now has been confirmed) of this news story, that all of sudden he has been raided by police and had his PC's grabbed and then return to him but formatted!
Na samym wstępie chciałbym przeprosić wszystkich tych, którzy czekają na program PS3Linked. Jak wiadomo miał być publiczny test, testu nie było dlaczego? już tłumaczę, niespodziewanie ktoś z moich znajomych doniósł na mnie policji że pirace/łamię urządzenie PS3 - pokazał kanał youtube. Dnia 30.06.2011 z samego rana odwiedziło mnie dwóch "Misiaków" z papierkiem w wyniku czego skonfiskowali komputer a mnie poprosili na komendę. Udało się ostatecznie dogadać, że nie otrzymam żadnej kary gdy zamknę swój kanał youtube promujący używanie nielegalnych programów i namawiający do używania pirackiego oprogramowania. To nie wszystko misiaki postanowili dokładnie przeszukać mój cały spiracony komputer, za to też dodatkowo miałem mieć karę gdyż była tego masa. Komputer odzyskałem dnia 02.07.2011 bez zawartości cały pusty. Aplikacja PS3Linked wciąż jest w produkcji 90% ja tego już nie prowadzę, jedynie mam podgląd do prac, bądźcie pewni niedługo ujrzy ta aplikacja światło dzienne. Po tych wydarzeniach zaczynam rozumieć poważnych developerów, którzy siedzą cicho w sprawie nowego CFW wy też ich zrozumcie jest to naprawdę nie przyjemne kiedy władze się do ciebie dobiorą. Co ze mną? kanału już pewnie nigdy nie przywrócę i nie będę wrzucał poradników pod "czarną stronę mocy", jednak nadal będę chętnie odwiedzał PS3-hack.com.pl i udzielał się na forum w mniej rzucających się dla oczu kategoriach.

At the beginning i want to apologize all people that waiting for an aplication Ps3Linked. Well known is that we want a public test, but he doesnt start. why ? i explain . Unexpectedly one of my familiar people has brought on me to police that i pirate/hack Playstation 3. For proof, he indicated my youtube channel. Day 30.06.2011, the two policeman in the morning, has confiscated my PC and i go with them to police station. It has managed to reach an agreement ultimately, that I will receive no punishment for my YT channel, but they find other things.
I have obtained my PC 2.07.2011, but all empty. Aplication PS3Linked is still in WIP 90% [work in progress] but im no longer to work on that, but There let's be certain to see this application daylight soon. After this , i understand many dewelopers about next CFW , you should them understand too, because , you dont know when the law is going to kick in your face. What with me ? I dont create any ,,tutorials" YT channel with ,,dark side", but i still will be watching ps3 sites less throwing for eyes categories.
Now that this is true it is a very sad day for the 'scene', as it means Sony is still out there hunting for fresh blood to drag thru the court system!
But thenat17 also mentions that a new unnamed team based out of Russia has picked up his original work and is trying to finish the program!
Sad news indeed, I really hope this isn't true! Could result in dev's going back into hiding, after things finally start to get moving again..
Surely, Sony would need to prove their info was on there, so they have a right (or would they even?) to blindly delete it. Such a shame to think of the hours wasted..

That make me angry it really does. U think u can trust people to have them stab u in the back.
Ftw. There is a few ways to recover your lost data of your hdd nonetheless super lame I feel for you I really do.
Things like this just infuriate me.
I would be starting from scratch again, and it's source would just magically end up on the web anonymously. So disappointing.
